Digital LearningIn this classroom, we embrace technology so that students can follow their curiosity, explore new interests, and expand their learning.
Students will learn what it means to be a digital citizen and how their use of technology leaves lasting footprints. Students are required to pass a digital citizenship quiz before they are allowed access to technology in my classroom. Everyone is responsible for his online behavior. Classroom disruptions with or inappropriate use of personal learning devices will be handled on an individual basis. |
Creative SpacesThis classroom is a creative space for students to read, explore, create, engineer, innovate, and tinker. Students are encouraged to explore subjects outside of their comfort zones, make mistakes, and take chances.
My door is open to students before and after school, as well as during RtI. This space is also available to students as classroom time permits throughout the day. Only two things are asked... First, students are asked to respect the creative space, other students working, and donated materials. Second, students are asked to share their learning experiences. (What's working? What's not? What's needed? Classroom contributions?) |
